Glenn Green Galleries is premiering the photography of Shelli Hyrkas (Shelli Dilley Novoselic): “On the Road and In the Studio With Nirvana”. She provides an important & intimate chronicle of Nirvana’s story, as seen through her lens, which is her story as well. Kurt Cobain (like a brother) and Krist Novoselic (former husband) were family. This is the first collection of ten images to be offered from her personal archives and is offered exclusively through Glenn Green Galleries.

“Airplane Australia- Dave Grohl, Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic”

In 1992 Nirvana was touring and playing shows in Australia. Shelli saw the band lined up on the air stairs, reminiscent of the old pictures of the Beatles, and told the band to stop so she could take their photo.

Glenn Green Galleries

Forty-nine years! Glenn and Sandy Green have operated Glenn Green Galleries (formerly known as The Gallery Wall, Inc.) since 1966. They present a group of fine international artists who work in sculpture, paintings and prints.

The gallery has arranged exhibits, not only in their own spaces, but also in London’s British Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, the Grand Palais in Paris as well as numerous venues in the U.S., Europe, South America and Japan.

As art consultants, the gallery advises corporations, museums and individuals on building their collections.

Their New Mexico gallery and five acre sculpture garden is located in the historical village of Tesuque—six minutes and five miles north of the Santa Fe Plaza. Kerry Green, daughter of Glenn and Sandy, directs this gallery and their second location at the The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona, a world-famous resort where they show art throughout the interior and 250-acre grounds.

To visit the Tesuque/Santa Fe, New Mexico location, take Highway 285 North to Exit 168, and travel one mile to #136 Tesuque Village Road (County Road 73). Then take first entrance south of the Tesuque Village Market and Café.

The Phoenician is located at 6000 Camelback Road in Scottsdale.
