Glenn Green Galleries: Victoria Davila

		The elegant works of New Mexican artist VICTORIA DAVILA often stop viewers in their tracks and draw them in for a closer look. She explores both human and animal forms with a great depth of knowledge and aplomb. Born in San Francisco, Davila received her B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and was granted a M.F.A. from Tyler. She studied at the Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy and also at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura y Escultura in Mexico City and studied with Francisco Zuniga. She was awarded an ITT Fellowship for the study of Marble Carving in Pietrasanta, Italy and was selected to be an Artist in Residence at the Roswell Museum and Art Center in New Mexico. Davila is an extraordinary talent and we are honored to show her sculpture in our gallery.
